The 1903 Triple Crown Medal awarded by the
Welsh Rugby Union to John Strand-Jones

Another rare item that you may of missed, this 9ct Gold medal recently sold on ebay for £411.50 (excluding p&p) 12-07-2020. It was awarded to Welsh International full-back John Strand-Jones who played in the first two matches of the 1903 championship winning season against England and Scotland. In total he represented Wales on 5 occasions. The medal is hallmarked: 9ct Gold, Birmingham 1902, Makers Mark W.J.D
